South Florida Magic School was established in 2015 to fill a growing need. Today's parents are searching for ways to motivate their kids to look UP and into the eyes of another person they’re communicating with in real life.

The unprecedented Harry Potter phenomenon, movies like The Illusionist and Now You See Me, and special "magic" effects used in Broadway shows such as Aladdin and Pippin have captured the imaginations of many. David Copperfield, Penn & Teller, Criss Angel, Mac King and others continue to headline in Las Vegas. Magicians Dustin Tavella, Shin Lim and Mat Franco have won the top prize on America's Got Talent,  and now Shin and Mat have their own Las Vegas Shows!

As the only licensed presenter of the award winning Discover Magic curriculum for the South Florida tri-county area, we offer a course like no other.

 

Created by a team that includes Michael Ammar, one of the world’s foremost teachers of magic, it's actually Life Skills lessons within a Magic Course!

Discover Magic focuses on the people skills that technology ignores. Performing magic gets kids looking up from their screens, interacting with others, and puts smiles on their faces!

​

Designed for 7-12 year olds, kids have tons of fun learning and performing magic tricks for each other, all the while developing very special communication skills, far more important than the tricks themselves. 

​

Learning magic makes the mind stronger, develops a variety of positive character traits, and requires kids to imagine what an audience might think as he or she performs. Children who experience this dynamic flow of information will use these skills throughout their lives.
 

Every class features one of the Eight Traits of a True Magician; things like Respect, Preparedness, Creativity, and Humility.  
 
Our Discover Magic courses include personal instruction, custom designed tricks and props, an individualized carrying case, Top Secret file folders, online "video vault" with bonus material, graduation certificate, a specially designed magic wand, and more!
